NEW for 2016 - EXPRESS DELIVERY WITHIN 7 DAYS
We hold around 400 replenishment products in stock for Express Delivery within 7 days to 95% of UK properties. Items are clearly marked with this symbol , and may be delivered as quickly as the next working day subject to delivery location and stock availability.
PLEASE NOTE that our Express Delivery service is being introduced over the first quarter of 2016, which means that not all items will be immediately available in all locations for Express Delivery. Our customer support team are happy to help and advise you of what’s available in stock.
Delivery is FREE to almost 50% of UK properties, and is based on delivery postcode. We are continuously increasing the number of free delivery postcodes, and our customer support team will be able to tell you if your delivery is eligible for free delivery. Delivery is free if made when all items are in stock and on the next scheduled delivery day for the delivery location – often the next working day. For deliveries to locations other than free delivery postcodes, we ask for a contribution to our delivery costs. Charges are based on delivery location, and our customer support team are able to advise you. To keep delivery charges to a minimum and to operate our fleet in the most ecological way possible, we try to group orders together and deliver on the set day for the delivery location.
We will agree the delivery date with you in advance, and closer to the day of delivery we’ll confirm a 3-hour time slot. Our delivery team will then call the named contact about 30 minutes before delivery to make sure that they are on site to receive delivery.
If you’ve booked removal and recycling of old items on a like-for-like basis, our team will take them away at the same time.
FAILED DELIVERY CHARGE
If for any reason the nominated contact is unable to receive delivery, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible to avoid a failed delivery charge.
SMALL ORDER CHARGE AND MINIMUM ORDER VALUE
We have abolished small order charges and minimum order values.
CUSTOM AND SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
We require a confirmed order and payment in advance for custom and special order items. These items are non-returnable unless they are faulty or defective, and cannot be cancelled once they have gone into production.
FREE ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Assembly, standard installation and placing in the designated room is now free. Standard installation does not include installation such as the hanging of prints and mirrors, fixing of headboards and furniture to walls, making beds or dressing with accessories. Please ask about our Premium Installation Service if you require installation of items such as these.
Electrical appliances are connected and tested as part of our installation service. Refrigerators and Freezers cannot be tested by our team as they must be left to settle for up to 24 hours before they can be switched on. We are unable to connect or test gas appliances, as by law these require installation by an accredited Gas Safe engineer.
Our team will remove all rubbish and packaging for onward recycling and disposal.
REMOVAL & DISPOSAL
ITEM REMOVAL & DISPOSAL
Removal and disposal of furniture is charged at £19.95 for up to five items and at £29.95 for six to ten items on a like-for-like basis.
Occasionally, we are asked to remove larger quantities of furniture than we are delivering. This must be arranged in advance by contacting our customer support team, who will advise you of the charge for this.
Fridges and freezers must be disposed of in a specific manner, and the charge for this is £19.95 per item.
